Adult-ish (Lowes)
“Adult-ish” is a campaign I created, alongside 3 of my fellow M Schoolers, to sell Lowe’s plants to 18-30 year olds. For this campaign, Lowes gave the M School strategy team a goal, strategy wrote a brief, and my team put together the campaign.
The driving idea behind the campaign was that 18-30 year olds may want to feel like adults, but aren’t quite there yet. If someone is looking for something to love and nurture but can’t handle the responsibility of a baby, a plant (from Lowes!) is the perfect substitute.
For executions, we created 2 longer form ads, fit for YouTube, Hulu, or other streaming services that have unskippable ads. We also created two short-form ads that could exist on Instagram, IG Stories, Snapchat, TikTok, or any platform in which you only have the viewer’s attention for seconds.
